This flavorful, medium-strength cigar offers rich notes of coffee and nuts with a pleasing floral aroma. Its Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed wrapper cloaks a Nicaraguan binder and aged long-filler leaves from Jalapa (which is one of Nicaragua’s top-tobacco growing regions). The Oliva Serie V Melanio is named after Melanio Oliva the family patriarch and founder of this more than one century old tobacco grower and brand. Handmade in Nicaragua, The Oliva Serie V Melanio No. 4 received an 89 rating from Cigar Aficionado and Cigar Insider.

Perfect draw, beautifully made cigar with a slightly lighter wrapper than the standard Serie V. The wrapper is not as oily and sweet as the standard Serie V. This wrapper is drier but posseses a faint unsweetened cacao taste., without the tiring "woody" character is present too many dark wrappers. This one is refined with a wonderfully clear draw.
