Earthy notes of cocoa and espresso anchor the profile, with subtle white pepper and a creamy smooth finish adding depth. The AJ Fernandez New World Decenio celebrates 10 years of the New World line, featuring a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and Honduras. Score: 92 Immediate blast of pepper. Leather. Sweetness. Cedar. Smooth. Effortless draw. Burn slightly askew. Outstanding construction. Lengthy medium grey, toothy ash. Thick, velvety smoke output. Box pressed. Medium to full bodied.

Incredibly smooth flavors of earth, leather, dark cocoa, and AJ's signature black pepper, though not overpowering pepper at all. This is a great medium-full or even full bodied, yet smooth cigar. Simply delicious. Glad I tried it, I'm going to buy more now.

Decenio was really good. That San Andrés wrapper brings a nice sweetness to go with the pepper and espresso, and there’s this subtle caramel/raisin thing in the middle third that keeps it from tasting like other AJ cigars. It builds a little in strength toward the end but stays smooth the whole way. Great addition to the New World lineup.

A beautiful looking and beautifully smoking cigar. I’m a huge fan of maduros, and almost exclusively smoke them. I will say, this is definitely on the bolder / stronger side, so keep that in mind. Not the kind of cigar I would smoke in the morning or on an empty stomach. That being said, it’s a great cigar. Something I would consider box worthy and would definitely smoke again.

Great full bodied cigar.

Very nice, and pleasant cigar, with multiple evolving notes of chocolate, light spice and cedar. Bought one to try and afterwards, ordered several more.
