A medium to full-bodied cigar with a spicy and earthy profile underscored by chocolatey, leathery, woody, and molasses notes. Its Mexican San Andres Habano wrapper drapes a Pennsylvania Broadleaf binder and a Nicaraguan and Mexican filler. The pairing of the wrapper and binder contribute to the cigar’s enticing spiciness and earthiness. The Micallef Red is handmade in Nicaragua.

I find that my favorite vitola in the color series to be the toro. But with that, the red produces such an amazing chocolate note that is irresistible.

Decent cigar. Wood and pepper are the 2 biggest flavors I get. Reteohale has more of the pepper, but not overpowering after the 1st 3rd.
