A smooth, mild cigar with notes of smokey oak, spice, and a soothing vanilla aroma. Its rustic, dark-brown Mexican wrapper covers an Ecuadorian binder and a Nicaraguan filler. Handmade in Nicaragua, the cigar brand is named after the Reata, Micallef’s fine-dining restaurant. Therefore, it was designed to be enjoyed as an after-dinner cigar, but you can savor it whenever you desire of course. The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua. The Micallef Reata Toro received a 92 rating from Cigar Aficionado.

Love the Micallef blends. There is not a bad one in the lineup. This smoke pairs well with anything. I personally like a good scotch with it!

This full-bodied gem requires some time to fully enjoy and appreciate. It is slow even burning, packed with slightly sweet aroma and flavors of earth and leather that dominate gentle overtones of dark coca and roasted nuts! If you are desiring, or if you are searching for, a smooth, hardy, full-bodied smoke with no bite or peppery aftermath, and delivers gentle notes that are slightly sweet without hindering the pleasures of full-bodied cigars, and where each puff yields generous amounts of smoke that do not irritate the eyes, then this is it!
