Description
A medium-strength cigar with tantalizing woody, nutty, and peppery notes. Its smooth Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper covers a Honduran binder and filler. Instead of cellophane, the Leaf by Oscar Connecticut is sheathed in a rustic-looking tobacco leaf, which you remove to reveal the actual cigar. It is a great morning smoke that will appeal to both the veteran and novice smoker. The cigars are handmade in Honduras.

Wow! What a great Conny

Great presentation but I found it somewhat bland. At the price, I’d rather go with a Perdomo Connecticut but that’s just me.

Fantastic

I like the whole leaf gimmick. But the cigar was a little bland. Flavors were nutty, with little to no sweetness. Flavors didn't change much and got harsher down the nub. Mild minus strength. Burn and construction were great, but nothing really stood out to me with this CT cigar.

White pepper, matchwood, vanilla, cream, cosmos flower, salty macadamia, light honey, kumquat jam, orange peel fragrance with some astringency, long aftertaste

I liked the presentation, wrapped in a tobacco leaf, and the construction of this cigar! Unfortunately, I was hoping for more in this Connecticut blend but it's still not a bad cigar.
