Intención is a new regular production release from La Gloria Cubana, produced by José “Pepin” Garcia at the My Father Cigars Factory in Nicaragua. It adds a modern expression to the brand’s portfolio while keeping the familiar character that has long defined La Gloria Cubana.

Very firm construction with a nice oily wrapper; pretty tight draw but loosened up some in the last half; very even burn with no touchups needed. Medium bodied and very toothy with nice thick blue-gray smoke output and bold flavors of cedar, strong bittersweet black coffee, and a nice peppery kick that got stronger in the last third.
