A dark, maduro USA Connecticut broadleaf wrapper combines with the La Duena’s Nicaraguan binder and filler to create robust notes of earth, leather, and pepper. The La Duena is hand crafted at the My Father Cigar factory in Nicaragua.

Firm construction, very open and easy draw. Really even burn with no touchups needed. Medium to full bodied and very smooth with tons of thick creamy white smoke output. Flavors of oak, leather, roasted nuttiness and just a hint of peppery spice. Great cigar!

Bought a box was disappointed from all the reviews. Draw is too easy, burned fast, flavor is nil, taste tree bark and or it is just my palate and this cigar is not for me. Have smoked three from the box to change my mind and still the same. These will be my give away stiks.

This La Dueña dark brown beauty provides a good firm draw of thick white smoke. Spicy cherry flavor is smooth and there is a slight lift with an underlying low, sweet finish. Nice long ash and great burn. Solid recommendation.

Was excited of course to smoke a new My Father cigar. The cigar starts off with a good deal of spiciness -- no surprise-- along with some earthy notes and creaminess. Into the second third, spice calms down a bit and earthiness and leather take over along with coffee notes. The spiciness definitely amps up again in the final third along with the earthiness. It's a medium smoke until the last third and then becomes a full body smoke-- full of flavor from beginning to end. The construction was good-- nice ash, no relights. The draw was a bit resistant for my taste so I did poke it once or twice. Overall a nice flavor packed smoke.
