Description
Hoyo de Monterrey La Amistad Robusto is a reinvented version of its Cuban predecessor Hoyo de Monterrey. It is also a joint venture by AJ Fernandez and General Cigars, two giants in the tobacco industry. Hand-rolled, the Hoyo de Monterrey La Amistad is a medium-strength cigar that uses a Colorado Ecuadorian Habano wrapper to surround a Nicaraguan binder and filler.

Impressive stick. Lots of smoke, very smooth, but enough pepper and kick to keep it interesting for the 1.5 hour smoking time. Looking forward to picking up a toro of the same blend.
