Description
This medium-bodied smoke offers a smooth, creamy smoking experience with nutty and woody notes. Its Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper sheaths a USA Connecticut Broadleaf binder and select Honduran long-fillers leaves. Handmade in the Dominican Republic, the Henry Clay War Hawk offers a milder alternative to its heartier cousin, and it is a great everyday smoke. The brand was named after the historic former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives during the 1800s.

I have been smoking this cigar for a long while now and especially this size particularly, I think it’s one of the best Connecticut offerings out there.

Connecticut shade wrapper seems to taste similar on every cigar I have tried, regardless of the cigar brand, or even cost. There seems very little variance with that wrapper, although there is some occasionally. But the filler tobacco will make the difference in the overall produt, and this is a good one. Compare it with an Ashton corona and see what you think. I think this is a distinctive well made cigar with a good medium fullness. I will try it again.

This is a beautiful, classic looking stick. Burns evenly, draws nicely. Flavors were smooth. There were notes of cream, cinnamon, and something floral in the background. A very nice smoke that I will be ordering more of.

Smooth woody smoke with toast and gingersnap. Medium bodied and complex.

My new favorite non-flavored cigar. Was just amazing to smoke. Perfect burn and smelled delicious.
