  The story behind H. Upmann The Banker starts in 1844, when the creators of the H. Upmann brand, both German bankers, crafted a unique cigar to give as gifts to their VIP clients. In 2014, Altadis tries to recreate the original blend using an Ecuador Havana wrapper, a Nicaraguan Jalapa binder, and Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers that have been carefully aged. H. Upmann The Banker is medium bodied with robust coffee and spice notes.
