A balanced, medium-bodied cigar that delivers notes of toasted almonds, vanilla, cream, spice, and wood. A Honduran binder and filler support a smooth Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper. The cigars are handmade in Honduras. The H. Upmann 1844 Classic is the fifth blend released under the popular 1844 line. It is also the first time that the line has had a Connecticut Shade offering.

Great cigar all around. No touch ups needed. I let it sit for about 3 mins while doing something else. Came back to it and still lit. Really nice old classic aromas. Smooth smoke great for afternoon or at night. Light flavor not intense which is what I prefer.

Classic old school flavors. Not my favorite flavor profile but I can certainly undestand why many will love this stick. Burn was not the best.

Firm construction, easy open draw, super even burn with no touchups needed. Medium bodied and very smooth and mellow with tons of thick, rich creamy smoke output. Flavors of roasted nuts, woodsy oak. leather and a hint of peppery spice. A nice cigar!

Smooth and creamy, one of my favorites. Try to keep one or two on hand at all times.

I was greeted with a pleasant aroma upon lightning. In terms of taste, not much is happening for me. Maybe faint vanilla, some wood, and white pepper. The cigar got spicier as it burned, and the white pepper felt like black pepper. It was smooth overall but I felt some scratchiness throughout the mouth. The cigar had a body to it, and despite the above mentioned, it did feel like a good smoke, perhaps somebody else will be able to appreciate it better than me.
