The Gellis Family Piece Unique Pink is the 2026 edition of Kyle Gellis’ one-time-blend project, and it takes the concept in a noticeably different direction from the original. The Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper keeps things elegant and approachable, while the Mexican San Andrés binder and Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers add more depth, spice, and richness to the profile. Expect a layered mix of cream, cedar, nuts, subtle sweetness, and baking spice.

The biggest change from the original Piece Unique is under the wrapper. The first edition used a Nicaraguan binder with Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers, while the 2026 release swaps in a Mexican San Andrés binder over the same two filler origins. Both are made at Tabacalera La Isla in the Dominican Republic and aged for one year after rolling, but the 2026 blend offers a darker, more complex interpretation of the original concept. With only 500 boxes of 15 being produced, Piece Unique Pink is another deliberately limited expression that won't be blended the same way again.
