Gellis’s Piece Unique is the first limited release from the Gellis Family Cigars brand, rolling out to shops after a well-received debut. Built with an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos from Estelí and the Dominican Republic, it delivers a classic fusion of flavors, combining the creaminess of the Old World with a Nicaraguan kick. The Piece Unique is a smooth medium-bodied smoke with notes of soil and heavy cedar. Measured notes of leather and white pepper coat the palate. Strength-wise, there’s enough under the hood to satisfy even the most discerning enthusiasts. The flavor is creamy and balanced, meaning tasting notes stay clear and discernible. The Piece Unique is named for its one-of-a-kind character: it’s aged, limited, and made to stand apart from other cigars in the Gellis Family Line.

Top notch. This is a stunning presentation and an intriguing smoking experience. A bit lighter on the intensity scale, but it has plenty of delicate flavors of you patiently navigate through the experience. Another great release from one of my favorite creators!

Freshly released and now making its debut at Neptune it delivers a refined but expressive profile with layered notes of cedar toasted nuts baking spice and a natural sweetness that develops beautifully as the cigar opens up. The balance is what really stands out here nothing rushes nothing overwhelms and every transition feels deliberate. Construction is flawless producing a steady burn and dense creamy smoke that lets you slow down and appreciate each nuance. This is the type of cigar you reach for when you want something truly special whether you are marking an occasion or simply treating yourself to a premium smoke and with its limited availability and meticulous craftsmanship it is an easy must have for any well rounded humidor. For a perfect pairing enjoy it with a glass of aged bourbon a smooth anejo rum or a rich cappuccino to complement its creamy refined character.
