Description
A medium bodied cigar with notes of cedar, white pepper, oak, and hints of citrus. Its USA Connecticut Shade wrapper covers a Honduran Sun Grown binder and Nicaraguan and Florida Sun Grown (FSG) filler. FSG is a dark, air cured tobacco that is known for its rich aroma, distinct taste, and excellent burn quality. The tobacco is grown at the Florida Sun Grown Farm, which sits on a 20 acre portion of land. It is located just outside of Clermont, Florida. The FSG by Drew Estate 20 Acre Farm is handmade at the La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Esteli, Nicaragua.

Like the previous reviewer I loved the old FSG and while this wasn't quite the same it was still a flavorful and enjoyable smoke with a nice slow burn and decent draw. Not usually a Connecticut fan but I did enjoy this one.

92 points. Beautiful cigar wrapped in a cedar sheath. Light to start then obviously strengthens a little. It was still burning at 90 minutes. I woulda smoked it to a nub but was called away for Father's Day breakfast. Actually that was the only reason I put it down. So, have a little time. I got this to try as a replacement for the FSG, Florida Sun Grown. Not disappointed in any way, yet this is certainly not FSG. Close but no cigar!
