  The Arturo Fuente Gran Reserva cigars have been made by four generations of family tradition, love, pride and personal sacrifice. The Fuente family oversees every step of the cigar making process, from seed planting to cigar packaging. Arturo Fuente cigars are blended with tobaccos set aside from Chateau Fuente's crop exclusively for the making of these cigars, the Arturo Fuente Gran Reserva cigars are then skillfully rolled with an African Cameroon or Connecticut Shade wrapper. Then, they are aged in Spanish cedar vaults to allow the blends to marry together, which produces an outstanding, well-balanced, flavorful taste.

  The Arturo Fuente Sun Grown series are rolled by hand with an Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper especially cultivated for Arturo Fuente, and Dominican filler and binder from the Chateau Fuente estate in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The line has received high ratings from industry critics (scoring a 90-Outstanding on Cigar Aficionado) for its woodsy, sweet character and nicely balanced medium flavor.

  The Dominican Republic is the world's first producer of cigars. Most factories are located in Santiago, in the center of the island, and in close proximity to the tobacco fields grown in the fertile Cibao Valley. While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.
