  ADVentura the Navigator

  A medium-strength cigar, the ADVentura The Navigator is hand rolled at the Tabacalera William Ventura factory in the Dominican Republic. A dark, sweet Mexican San Andres wrapper surrounds The Navigator’s Indonesian Sumatra binder, which houses premium tobaccos from Ecuador, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. The ADVentura The Navigator has a spicy flavor profile that is accented caramel notes.

  The Arturo Fuente Sun Grown series are rolled by hand with an Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper especially cultivated for Arturo Fuente, and Dominican filler and binder from the Chateau Fuente estate in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The line has received high ratings from industry critics (scoring a 90-Outstanding on Cigar Aficionado) for its woodsy, sweet character and nicely balanced medium flavor.

  The full bodied Air Bender lives up to LFD's reputation for power and spice. The blend is comprised of Dominican filler and binder tobaccos, including some piloto Cubano, Sumatra seed and Corojo, the spiciness of which is complemented with a Habano-seed wrapper leaf grown in Ecuador.

  La Galera Imperial Jade

  When creating the La Galera Imperial Jade, which is the sixth release of the La Galera brand, cigar impresario (and La Galera owner) Jose “Jochy” Blanco decided to use the hard-to-get African-grown Cameroon. It is the first time he used a Cameroon wrapper for a La Galera cigar. The wrapper is known for its smoothness, beauty, and flavor, but it is also a thin and stiff leaf, which makes it difficult to work with. But this did not deter Jochy and his expert rollers to create a premium cigar that is a gem to behold and a beauty to smoke. The La Galera Imperial Jade is handmade in the Dominican Republic at Blanco’s Tabacalera Palma factory.

  The Dominican Republic is the world's first producer of cigars. Most factories are located in Santiago, in the center of the island, and in close proximity to the tobacco fields grown in the fertile Cibao Valley. While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.
