  Bolivar Cofradia by Lost & Found

  The Bolivar Cofradia by Lost & Found is a part of the Caldwell Lost & Found project. It is a collaboration between Robert Caldwell of Caldwell Cigars and Justin Andrews of Scandinavian Tobacco Group (aka STG). These cigars are made of tobaccos that have been aged for five to eight years. They are handmade in Honduras. The project was conceived during Caldwell’s travels through cigar factories in the Caribbean and Central America where he would find carefully aged and well-maintained cigars that were once popular or limited releases. The sticks are repackaged and re-released as limited-run cigars. Portions of the proceeds from the sale of Lost & Found cigars will be donated to charity.

The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.

  USA Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco is grown in the Connecticut River Valley area. The soil in this region is of glacial origins. The tobacco is dark, oily, flavorful, and aromatic. It is used primarily as a maduro wrapper, but it also serves as an excellent binder.
