Description
Black Label Trading Co. has come to deliver us from weak cigars, with their 2025 installment of their Deliverance Nocturne. This blend features a bold Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper, a Nicaraguan Habano binder, and fillers from Nicaragua and Pennsylvania. The blend is the same recipe fans loved from the prior releases, offering deep, layered flavors of earth, dark cocoa, leather, and spice. The Pennsylvania broadleaf wrapper is an uncommon choice that adds punch without overpowering the other notes. Nocturne 2025 is a seriously stiff, full-flavored smoke perfect for those who want depth of flavor and an intense nicotine kick.

True to the label, I chose experiencing this cigar at night while listening to scripture. As the skeleton tacitly implies: Through prayer there is hope beyond death. - earning it high marks for both appearance and collection appeal. Smoking quickly revealed a flavorful duality of meat broth and pepper, further emphasizing the simple comforts we shouldn't take for granted. I found myself reminded of our household's *last supper*, whereby beef tips and potatoes were enjoyed. Accenting this experience with a single glass of "The Diplomat" Sake (Japanese rice wine for the uninitiated) proved quite savory. All told, the Deliverance Nocturne is an excellent product, but fell slightly short of a flawless review due to needing a single touch up along the way. Still, easily worth the asking price while remaining the company's best stick in my opinion. It's functionally perfect.

A vibrant smoke that demands your full attention. My favorite PA broadleaf wrapper, highly recommended!

I am no vey good at articulating the flavor profile of cigars but what I can do is compare this cigar to my regular smokes which are Padron 2000 and 3000 in natural and maduro as well as Ratzillas, T52’s by Liga Privada. If you love those cigars I believe you will also love the Black Label Nocturne Deliverence.

Too harsh of a cigar for me. I’m a fan of maduros, it’s just about the only cigars I smoke, but this cigar just hasn’t sit right for me. Very dark, bold flavor. Heavy pepper and spice.

While being somewhat of a “Black Sheep” in the cigar world, Black Label Trading Company has made a tremendous impression on me with their Deliverance Nocturne. Dark chocolate, black pepper, charred wood, and espresso hit right away, setting the tone for a cigar that will really put some hair on your chest. The opening has that signature Black Label grit, dense smoke, and a punch of spice through the nose, balanced by a dark sweetness from the PA Broadleaf that keeps it from getting too harsh. Into the second third, the cigar settles and sharpens. The pepper pulls back just enough to let notes of roasted coffee, earth, and a molasses-like sweetness come forward. There’s a nice ebb and flow here. Nothing feels muddled, and the transitions are clean. Construction holds up well with a steady burn and solid draw, producing thick, lingering smoke that carries the profile without fading. The strength is worth noting as it was at this point that I began to feel the familiar buzz that so often comes from a stiff cigar. The final third ramps things back up. The char and spice return, this time layered over deeper, almost smoky cocoa and a more pronounced earthiness. Strength creeps into the upper end of medium-full, but it never loses balance or becomes overwhelming. Aggressive, strong, and very well balanced, this cigar is a maduro lover’s dream. Be sure to try one soon!

Very, very good cigar and great example of PA Broadleaf wrapper. Dark cocoa, charred oak and espresso dominate, but many other flavors, including several sweet ones (molasses, plum and raisins). Worth try

Great full bodied smoke

Dark, chocolatey wrapper that gives off a heavy charred wood feel that comes through with a big full bodied smoke.
