The AVO Improvisation LE 2020 is a limited-edition, medium strength cigar that is expertly handmade in the Dominican Republic by master blenders Henke Kelner and Eladio Diaz. Its natural Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper is placed over a Dominican binder and a filler composed of Dominican San Vicente Ligero, Piloto Ligero, Piloto Visus, and San Vicente Seco leaves. This carefully arranged blend has a creamy, toasty profile that is accompanied by deep notes of coffee, spice and earth. AVO cigars are named after jazz musician turned cigar composer Avo Uvezian. Only 2,500 boxes of 14-cigars per box were made, so order yours today before they’re all gone.

  Each year, Avo Uvezian launches a new limited edition cigar to celebrate his years in the cigar business or his birthday. The production are limited from 2000 to 10,000 boxes and the cigars are usually a masterpiece of their kind. Avo Uvezian is an accomplished musician and pianist who has been composing cigars since 1987.

The weather conditions, with a nearly permanent cloudy sky, provide a natural shade, protecting the wrapper plants from sunshine and allowing the tobacco to grow thin and light. This climate allows tobacco growers to grow Connecticut-seed wrapper in the shade without shade cloths, resulting in more economical wrapper.

  The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together. 
  Dominican Republic is a traditional tobacco-growing country. In the 60's, a Cuban seed was introduced and the resulting tobacco, called Piloto Cubano, became famous as a good substitute of the Cuban tobacco that was no longer allowed to enter the USA. Piloto Cubano is full bodied while the Dominican Olor tobacco is milder but more aromatic.
