Description
This medium-strength cigar delivers delectable notes of cedar, wood, pepper and espresso. Its deep brown USA Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper covers a binder and filler made of Dominican tobaccos. It is artfully hand crafted in the Dominican Republic. The AVO Classic Maduro Robusto was the first blend developed by the late jazz composer turned cigar crafter Avo Uvezian in concert with master blender Hendrik “Henke” Kelner.

Quiet good cigar

Perfect draw, burn and construction. Smoked this on a very windy day and it still burnt fine. Flavors however were not great. First third started off with some slight cherry, cocoa sweetness, but mostly espresso bitterness. The bitterness was quite strong and lasted almost half of the smoke. Towards the 2nd half of the smoke, the bitterness died down a little, sweetness lingering slightly in the background, with some earthiness. It was a straightforward cigar, but didn't give me the Maduro flavors that I was looking for. Not box worthy in my opinion! Mild+ strength.

I was looking for a cigar with CT Broadleaf wrapper made by Davidoff and found this. Taste and aroma wise it didn't disappoint because it's very smooth and tasty, but cigar started to tunnel after first light, so construction doesn't seem good.

Not as good as the classic, but still a great cigar. Very good draw with a slight irregular burn. Good taste and aroma.

I'm still a mild to medium guy but, I went for the Maduro and was pleasantly surprised. Smooth draw and pleasant taste, even burn and had a bit of coco in there. Loved it.
