Nice looking cigar. Draw was good. Burned slightly wonky but didn’t need corrected and fixed itself. Smells great. Had some what of a bitter taste near the last third.

Very good starts slow but flavor comes in later on. Just not sure if worth price per stick probably better getting a box if this is your daily.

This ASHTON Classic has become my go to cigar. It smokes so easy, good body smoke, nutty, woody, smooth flavors. Perfect with a wheated low-heat bourbon

I like the 898 better but I bought a box of these because I wanted a shorter cigar for the winter months. I would like to compare it to a Davidoff Signature series of the same size. I smoked each one on consecutive days. They are similar but this is fuller, actually. The wrapper is a mild Ecuador Conn. shade . However the filler is medium in strength. The Davidoff has it's unique spice and sweetness. I enjoy this but I won't buy another box, as I just don't smoke Conn. Shade very often. But, this is truly a perfectly made cigar.

Many things have already been said about this cigar, and I cannot agree more. It is consistent and mild, with distinct, well-balanced flavors and an elegant progression of blond wood, cream, toasted bread, and light pepper, at least to my palate. The smoke is silky and abundant, and the burn is steady throughout. Among mild cigars, I found it more satisfying than some Cuban cigars I have smoked. It is a cigar I would confidently recommend both to first-time smokers and as a reliable staple to keep in the humidor.

A slightly sweet, easy draw. Starts with citrus, toast and cashews, Ends with honey, cashews and hickory.
