Rocky Patel Hamlet Liberation

Rocky Patel’s master roller, Hamlet Paredes is known around the cigar world for his free-rolling style, which means he doesn’t use a mold or a press when he’s creating a masterpiece. A sleek tapered head and an unfinished shaggy foot make the Liberation a unique figurado that shows off Paredes’ skill as a roller. The Liberation’s Ecuadorian Habano Maduro wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and blended fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua combine to make the Liberation a medium-strength cigar. The Liberation is a full-bodied smoke with notes of earth and roasted coffee.

This a great smoke from Hamlet. Always make sure to have a few of these stocked in my humidor.

Heavy dark smoke plumes, deep tar flavor, strong knock down harsh after taste, not for the faint of heart.

I was unsure of how I would enjoy the unwrapped foot but it was amazing. The flavor changes once the wrapper joins the party.

This was a surprise for me, had no idea who Hamlet was, and once I learned of who he is and what he's produced, I was curious. WOW!! What a surprise! This cigar tastes like that amazing "cigar smoke bouquet" we all smell from other cigars, when we think to ourselves, "that smells AWESOME!" Well this one tastes like that smell, to me at least, and I love the shaggy foot of it. The first 1/2 inch or so is just the filler tobacco, its good, but when the binder and wrapper kick in, about 1.5" in to the smoke, WHAMMO! The flavor stays pretty consistent, I've no issues with re-lighting or burn, and the draw is perfect. I've only smoke about 6 or 7 of these, but may be my favorite smoke right next to the AJ Ramon Allones!! Highly recommended!

Looked the part.. The worst construction I have ever seen on a cigar... Waste of time
