The Perdomo Estate Seleccion Vintage Maduro is a full-strength cigar that is hand rolled in Nicaragua. Its dark, oily Nicaraguan maduro wrapper drapes a Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and filler, which combines to give this cigar its spicy flavor with notes of wood, and espresso. The Perdomo Estate Seleccion Vintage Maduro received a 94 Rating from Cigar Journal.

construction was flawless. solid performer from start to finish. great Maduro flavors: mostly espresso and Earth but I expected more complexity and transitions. slightly bitter towards the last inch. I could have enjoyed it the same in a robusta size. very appropriate for a poker game, good night at the casino, or around the campfire with a couple of friends and some bourbon in moderation. as typical for call perdomo. excellent value.

Realy unique tastes going on here. Leather and liqorice, chocolate and tannens. The wrapper started to come apart towards the middle but the ash was long and the smoke creamy and smooth. Exellent!

I really enjoyed this. It's a little pricey for a robusto, but I agree with prev reviewers about its sweet / coffe-and-sugar notes and consistency. Worth trying again. Never been a huge fan of Perdomo, but this is a point in their favor.

I really enjoyed this cigar on many levels. I like a good draw and burn and this cigar delivers. Very good taste for a medium/full cigar, hints of coffee, creamy, and leather. I will definitely be smoking this regularly.

I was very excited to try this new Perdomo Estate Seleccion Vintage Maduro when we received it recently. This cigar also comes in Connecticut and Sungrown wrappers. This cigar is a Nicaraguan Puro that is made with the top 5% of the Perdomo's family estate grown tobaccos from their Finca Natalie Farm (named after their daughter) in Esteli, Nicaragua--which I have had the pleasure of visiting! The packaging makes a bold statement against this very dark brown, oily maduro wrapper. The aroma from the foot of the cigar is woody with a hint of spice. Upon first light, the ESV is extremely smooth and balanced. Notes of oak and nutiness are upfront with a slight sweetness that keeps growing. A delicious chocolate note wanders in toward the end of the first third. Into the second third, chocolate notes are primarily upfront until some coffee notes take over. The cigar remains extremely smooth, complex and delicious. Construction is perfect at this point. Moving into the final third, sweetness is prevailing until oak and leather become the main focus. The cigar finishes with leather notes and a touch of coffee. This cigar was very balanced throughout and very very smooth with a nice amount of complexity! It pretty much ends up becoming a full body/full flavored smoke and I do believe it may have become my new favorite Perdomo! I strongly recommend a try -- enjoy, I certainly did!

I do not say this lightly, this is the best Perdomo I have ever had. The draw is effortless, the flavors richly intoxicating, and every part of the cigar experience is top notch. This is definitely in my top 25 of all time as well. This came highly recommended and was on top spots of many "best of 2019" lists, and for very good reason! Worth the high price and worth stocking up on. I'd rate it 95 points.

Totally didn't do it for me. I was really surprised because I LOVE the Perdomo Double Aged 12 Year Maduro. This one no so much. Great build quality, burns even, nice draw, just kinda lackluster in the flavor department. Also, the band is really cheap looking. Perdomo is still my favorite, just not this one.
