The Partagas Limited Reserve Decadas 2019 Robusto Extra is an exquisite robusto that sports a natural Cameroon wrapper, which has been carefully aged for 10 years. According to General Cigars, approximately three thousand wrapper leaves were hand selected for the Partagas Limited Reserve Decadas 2019. Handmade in the Dominican Republic, the Limited Reserve Decadas 2019 has a blended filler made of Dominican Piloto Cubano and Nicaraguan Ometepe tobaccos that are housed in a Honduran binder. This splendid combination is wrapped in the Cameroon wrapper, which offers up a rich aroma and flavor that’s well worth the 10 year wait. Only 2,500 boxes of 10 cigars (each packaged in a glass tube) of The Partagas Limited Reserve Decadas 2019 were made.

I am such a fan of Cameroon wrapper that I could not resist to pick this cigar up and light it up immediately when I first encountered it at the IPCPR show in Las Vegas. It was 9:30 am and about 40 minutes later I was burning my hands smoking this cigar to the nub. The blend also features a Honduran Olancho San Agustin binder over a Nicaraguan Ometepe filler. The Cameroon wrapper was grown in 2009 -a fantastic year for Cameroon tobacco- and set aside for a decade this special Partagas Decadas project. This robusto is a real pleasure to smoke. Body is on the mild to medium range, really smooth and full flavored. The perfect morning cigar! As a bonus, the box is beautiful and the cigars are elegantly presented in glass tubes, a great gift for yourself or a special someone.

This cigar is imo average. Typical cameroon flavor, leather, wood, pepper spice thru the nose. Its a good cigar for what it is. If you love cameroon cigars, better get the CO 2nd Third instead. Draw was tight on all my cigars. Didnt not burn straight. Glass tube was good marketing. Would not buy again unless a sale.
