This year marks Montecristo's 80th year anniversary, and what a way to commemorate 80 years of Montecristo with an anniversary cigar. The cigar is wrapped in a rich dark oily Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. After lighting my cigar I notice a sweetness behind a nutty leathery tone. In the retro-hale I notice some cinnamon and nutmeg giving this cigar a wonderful complexity. Definitely a cigar to try and even collect!
