Manolo Quesada 75th Anniversary

The Manolo Quesada 75th Anniversary cigar was released to celebrate its namesake’s 75th birthday. Manuel “Manolo” Quesada is the head of Quesada cigars a family owned cigar business that spans five generations. This beautifully crafted cigar features a dark, delicious Ecuadorian Corojo maduro wrapper that covers a Nicaraguan binder and filler. Its carefully selected blend offers a memorable smoking experience that exemplifies Quesada’s legacy as a cigar crafter. Once rolled, the cigars are placed in a collectible numbered box. The cigars are handmade at the Quesada Cigars factory in the Dominican Republic.

The Dominican Republic is the world's first producer of cigars. Most factories are located in Santiago, in the center of the island, and in close proximity to the tobacco fields grown in the fertile Cibao Valley. While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.

Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.

this is an ultra-premium cigar in every respect. medium/fully body, medium strength, loads of soft smoke, notes of almond and cocoa, not too much pepper. construction is better than any cigar i've smoked maybe ever.
