Henry Clay Tattoo

Henry Clay Tattoo is a cigar born from the minds of Altadis' Grupo de Maestros and Tatuaje's Pete Johnson. Although these two companies have had their quibbles in the past, today they join together to celebrate Henry Clay, an old cigar brand that Pete Johnson's has mentioned in interviews as one of his favorite cigars from the 90s. Henry Clay Tattoo is a modern interpretation of this classic cigar, with both blend and packaging revamped, but keeping the cigar in its rustic presentation with a pigtail cap and bundle-press style. Made in the Dominican Republic with a 2010 USA Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, a 2010 Dominican Piloto Cubano binder and fillers from Dominican Republic and Nicaragua's Ometepe region.

I've had many Henry Clay Tattoos and know that it's a good line of cigars. The ones that I received has bad draws and burn issues. Hopefully, it's a few bad sticks.

This is a beautiful looking cigar. Burn was slightly off but I didn't let the first one sit too long in the humidor after arrival. This is a must try!!!

It seemed like this cigar had a really nice flavor, but I couldn't get much smoke out of it. It was way too tight and I had to toss it out. Very disappointing - I hate just throwing away my money like that.
