The Heart Breaker sports a reddish Dominican sun-grown wrapper placed over a Dominican binder, and a filler made of Dominican Corojo tobacco. Once lit, this Dominican puro offers up peppery, woodsy, and earthy notes. According to Victor Nicholas, the brand’s founder, the cigar gets its name from the legend about a little boy who dies and comes back to visit his mother in the form of the Chogui bird. The story is popular among the indigenous people of Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay.
