Byron 21st Century

The Byron 21st Century cigar is a reimagined version of the original Cuban Byron cigars that were first rolled by Jose and Eusebio Alfonso in 1848. The cigars were named after the great English poet Lord Byron. In 1998, Nelson Alfonso, founder of Selected Tobaccos and the original owners’ great-great-great grandson was able to recover the name and re-launch the brand. The blend consists of an Ecuadorian wrapper placed over a Dominican binder and a filler composed of leaves from Peru and an undisclosed origin. Once rolled, the cigars are aged for four years to allow their flavors to marry. The cigar is medium bodied and offers a smooth smoking experience. They are handmade in Costa Rica.
