Fans of this awesome blend with an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper and a Nicaraguan binder and filler will remember it when it was part of Erik Espinosa and Eddie Ortega’s EO Brands. Then it became part of Espinosa Cigars’ original 601 line-up. When first released the 601 Black was highly regarded because it offered a more bold and robust smoking experience than the traditional, milder Connecticut Shade blends. Now you can enjoy this fan favorite all over again, but only as a limited annual release. According to Espinosa Cigars, a new vitola will be added each year. The 601 Black is made at the La Zona factory in Nicaragua.
