This is a very solid, heft cutter. I prefer their V-cutter to this one, personally, but the S-Cut does make a nice, clean straight cut. For whatever reason, I really appreciate that one blade is stationary.

Cuts great, little bulky to carry, the red coating is easily scraped off or chipped so could look a little rough after much use.

Vastly different than a cheapo cutter. I really like it. The only down side is the clippings get caught in the blade because it locks again when you trim your cigar.
