Drew Estate’s Kentucky Fire Cured Swamp Thang Ponies uses two distinctively contrasting wrappers to create a balanced, complex and flavorful cigar. A medium-strength Small Panatela, the first two thirds of the Swamp Thang’s wrapper is made of Dominican Republic Candela tobacco. The last third of the wrapper is a Kentucky Fire cured leaf. Both leaves combine to create a rich, complex aroma with hints of barbecue sweetness. Pair it with a great scotch.

The Kentucky Fire Cured Swamp Thang Sweet Ponies is the Swamp Thang’s sweeter cousin. This medium-strength, small panatela features a spicy Nicaraguan binder and a filler that is deftly draped by a green candela wrapper that covers its first two third, then a very rustic Kentucky fire cured maduro leaf covers the final third. This unique blend delivers an unforgettable smoking experience by combining the mouthwatering ultra-sweetness of the candela leaf with the savory sweet barbecue flavor of the Kentucky fire cured leaf and the filler’s spicy core. The Kentucky Fire Cured Swamp Thang Sweet Ponies pairs well with scotch or an IPA beer. It is handmade in Nicaragua.
