The Casino Real is a full-bodied, flavorful stick. It is handmade in Nicaragua. A natural Ecuadorian Habano wrapper surrounds the Casino Real’s binder and filler made of premium Nicaraguan tobaccos. The Casino Real’s profile is creamy and spicy.

Despite many decades of war and revolution in this Central American country, the cigar industry has thrived due to the hard work and tenacity of Cuban exiles to the land such as Plasencia, Padron, Oliva, Ortez, and others. Tobacco has been a force of social stability, and the country is now one of the principal exporters of premium cigars in the world.

Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.
Natural wrapper, also known as Colorado Claro, is light brown in color.

The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Ecuadorian Habano wrapper has become one of the most used cigar wrappers in the market. Grown primarily by the Oliva family, this tobacco originated from Habano or H2000 seeds brought to Ecuador from Cuba. This leaf is rich and flavorful thanks to the temperate climate of Ecuador and the quality of its volcanic soil.
Binder
Nicaragua
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.

Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.

Decent value stick with some lingering issues. Mine was a somewhat tight draw with a cracking and peeling wrapper and a jagged burn early that did correct itself. To me medium and woody with an underlying spice that grows as you smoke through it. Loosen up the draw and it would be a good smoke overall.

This is such an underrated cigar it’s not funny. Neptune is one of the only places I can even find these gems. The Churchill is my favorite. Always a perfect draw, even burn, and just an overall all superb smoking experience. I always smoke these down to the nub. A cigar that punches well above its weight - these can easily hang with sticks that cost double the price. Don’t sleep on the mighty casino real!

This is a review of 10 cigars smoked. Full-bodied and medium-strength with a marvelous burn line and draw. Flavors of dark chocolate, black coffee, earthiness, leather, baking spices, and subtle spiciness come and go throughout a long, slow burn. Take off the band, give it to a price snob and enjoy their eventual surprise at the price point. One of the few 60 ring gauge vitolas that do not disappointment me.

I had seen a review of this cigar in the latest Cigar Aficionado and was compelled to give it a try. Wow, was I shocked! At this price point you certainly don't expect the intricate flavors that are found in this very nice smoke. It was a very creamy smoke with some very subtle, yet nice, hints of wood and pepper. Burned evenly with a nice ash as well. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a very good daily stick at a price point that is way below what you would expect from a cigar of this character!

First time with this stick. Initial look and feel were great, as it felt well put together in my hand. From the time I lit it through 2 hours of smoking to the nub, it was an above average smoke but nothing outstanding. However, with that being said, paying $5-$6 for this stick is definitely not a letdown.

Super solid smoke, especially for the cost. Great flavor, even burn and a fantastic, light draw. Smoked it down under 2 inches and never got too hot.
