Rolled at the Joya de Nicaragua factory in Esteli, Nicaragua, the Muestra de Saka is an extremely limited ultra-premium cigar created by Steve Saka. Utilizing filler tobaccos from the four main growing regions of Esteli, Ometepe, Condega and Jalapa, this delectably complex full-bodied blend swirls between sweet cream and spicy pepper throughout for a pleasantly dizzying experience nobody will soon forget.

Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
Despite many decades of war and revolution in this Central American country, the cigar industry has thrived due to the hard work and tenacity of Cuban exiles to the land such as Plasencia, Padron, Oliva, Ortez, and others. Tobacco has been a force of social stability, and the country is now one of the principal exporters of premium cigars in the world.

Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.
Maduro wrapper can go from dark coffee brown with a reddish tint to blackish brown (the latter also called Oscuro).

The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Nicaraguan cigar wrappers are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Wrappers grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro wrappers are all produced in Nicaragua.

Nicaragua
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.

Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.

Very smooth cigar had a lot of pepper in the first third but then kind of just droped off to a general smoothness that was somewhat sweet. Not heavy on flavors like most of the sakas are there was also a bad knot in my particular stick that I had to perfect draw so that could have affected the dlavors somewhat also. probably wont reach for this again specially at that high price I expect lots of flavors but if you like mild try it out

Up there with a Davidoff, or a Padron. Not as well know as those but I can’t find fault with it. I even like the cloth band, easier to remove off the foot than those tight stuck on labels that often tear the cigar wrappers when you try and remove them. Count me in For more of these. I have had 2 of these now. The first was very good flavors, some Kentucky wood fired characters and smoked very well. But alas the next was rather mediocre it didn't burn well at all and ended up rather charry. Not a pleasant experience at all. I know lanceros can be a bit hit and miss but this was over the top. Disappointing.

Oh my!! If these had been around in the early 1940’s and you gave sir winston Churchill one and buried another 1000 in a forest near Berlin, we would have won the war in 1944!! That’s how good these cigars are!! Buy one, no matter your budget, just add one to your next order and the beautiful thing is you don’t need to shell out $400 for a box of 25 as they come in a box of 7!! While I know Saka didn't blend this, his brilliance is why this cigar is in the market place. One of the best looking sticks that I have ever smoked. Very solid pack but draws perfectly well. If as a kid you ever chewed on your baseball glove stitching, you will have a flash back. That leather note wraps mild pepper notes perfectly. As long as this cigar is made, it has a home in my humidor.

Everybody that knows me knows I am a big fan of Steve Saka and his contribution to the world of tobacco. With that said, this cigar is totally different from the rest of the premium Muestra de Saka line, by the simple fact that it Was not blended by him! Instead, he challenged master blender and General Manager of NACSA (Nicaraguan American Cigars S.A.) Raul Disla to create a couple of test blends, and Saka picking the best fitting one for a new Muestra de Saka cigar. I'm happy to say that the Unstolen Valor meets all the expectations a fanboy like me would have. It start off with a mix of black pepper and earthiness to it, with a peppery retrohale and some leather notes as well. Reaching the second part, it stayed pretty much the same, earthy with a mix of pepper and spice along with a sweet component to it. The ash is as white as they come and the construction of this cigar is A+. The third and final part of this delicious stick is burning slow and is producing a pretty good amount of smoke, the pepper notes have increased and the retrohale is now more of a mix of espresso and earth. I have to add, to enjoy the full experience of this cigar you must retrohale! Overall, I am very impressed with the Unstolen Valor, and it definitely deserves a place among the Saka lineup.

The cigar industry can be quite the lion's den. Everyone is in friendly competition with each other, conjuring up impressive packaging and trying to create a cigar better than the last. Certain individuals have earned an esteemed pedigree throughout the years in regards to releasing quality smokes, and one of them is undoubtedly tobacco guru Steve Saka. The mastermind behind the revered Liga Privada line (among others), Saka knows a thing or two about cigar blends, and the Muestra de Saka Exclusivo easily continues that reputation. Made at the Joya de Nicaragua factory in Esteli, this simple looking stick arrives in a classy wooden coffin and sports only a small yellow footer band at its end. Upon lighting, I instantly enjoyed a sweet earthy flavor that later opened up and gave way to nutty notes about halfway through. Some may classify the cigar as full-bodied, but I myself found the strength to hover around medium. This may be partially due to the smoothness that this stick exhibits, another Steve Saka trademark. Approaching the end, the nutty earthy notes remained while introducing a slight citrus flavor that gave the experience the proverbial cherry on top. Of course, as expected, construction was impeccable and no relights were needed. I whole-heartedly recommend the Muestra de Saka Exclusivo to any smoker looking for a premium cigar that is guaranteed to satisfy even the pickiest of palates. Pair with a nice Scotch, and ENJOY.

At the forefront I picked up sweetness paired with hints of spiciness. After the first third and into the second I found notes of cocao, espresso and even a hint of smoky leather. What a great smoke that lives up to the name Saka

This is one of the ultimate cigar experiences. Is it worth $100? Value is in the eye of the beholder (and smoker). Cost aside, smoking the Unicorn was one of the most gratifying cigar-smoking experiences ever. The construction is amazing; the CT broadleaf wrapper is as soft as silk. The taste is outstanding. The burn, excellent. Wonderful experience.

Steve saka knocked it out if the park with sobremesa . This particular one being somewhat on the more mild side for his sticks it's still have great flavor. The finish lasted until the next draw . Amazing cigar
