Macanudo Inspirado White is sweet and spicy yet mild to medium bodied. Made with 6-years aged Ecuadorean Connecticut wrapper, Indonesian binder and 4-years aged fillers from Nicaragua (Esteli, Jalapa) and Mexico (San Andres).

Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
Honduras, a Central American country which shares a border with Nicaragua, is widely known in the premium cigar industry as the ideal place to grow Cuban and Connecticut seed tobaccos. Danli and the Jamastran Valley is considered the heart of Honduras’ cigar industry. The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.

Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.

The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Ecuador is the perfect place to grow wrappers, because it is located on the Equator! And it has rich soils too. The weather conditions, with a nearly permanent cloudy sky, provide a natural shade, protecting the wrapper plants from sunshine and allowing the tobacco to grow thin and light. This climate allows tobacco growers to grow Connecticut-seed wrapper in the shade without shade cloths, resulting in more economical wrapper.

The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Tobacco is grown in many islands of the Archipelago but, as far as cigars are concerned, Sumatra and Java are the ones. Sumatra Wrappers are worldwide known. Central Java (Vorstenland) and East Java (Besuki) give fillers and wrappers in abundance. Indonesia is a key country for cigar tobacco.

Amazing little smokes that pair well with a cup of black coffee. As soon as you open the tin you get an aroma of creamy vanilla and roasted coffee beans. Easy to smoke with a fairly mild but complex flavor. Draws and burns evenly and clean. A little bit of sweetness but not too much for me.

Light and mild for a nice easy smoke. Flavor was a bit sharp at first and mostly hay/wood with a bit of vanilla. Consistent draw, with the flavor opening up a bit in the middle with a slightly fruity note that reminded me a bit of cherry wood. Overall very pleasant but leaves a bit to be desired in complexity of flavor. Goes well with an ale or porter. I followed with a splash of brandy afterwards, which went very well, adding a note raisin to the aftertaste.

I was looking for a creamy smoke and Eureka! I found it in the Macanduo Inspirado White. Its smooth golden-hued Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper (that had been aged for 6 years) telegraphed that this was going to be a pleasant smoke. The aroma off the foot and body had hints of grass with touches of floral. The construction was firm. Upon lighting, I was surprised by some spicy and earthy notes with a mouthwatering sweetness in the background. For the second and final third, the sweetness became more pronounced as the spiciness played in the background. Overall, this stick had a slightly tight draw, but it did not affect the flow. The burn was sharp, and the ash leaned a little towards white. The finish was creamy and velvety. Strength wise, it was mild to medium. I’d recommend this cigar to fans of the Connecticut Shade wrapper or for aficionados looking for a rich, creamy smoke. Pairs well with a dark coffee or a latte.

The wrapper is pretty much tasteless. The smell is an earthy-ish one of tobacco. The burn was slightly uneven, and I had to keep touching it up to keep it even. It had a even, medium draw, just a smidgen over medium, but that's not a bad thing. Part of the enjoyment of smoking a cigar is that you have to work for it. It has a sweet taste, but there is an acrid taste that sticks a little in the throat. It dissipates quickly enough but the remnants can still be felt/tasted. That taste can be stopped/prevented if you blow instead of drawing it. Then you have a nice clean taste. It doesn't have billows of smoke, that you get with some cigars. It's a nice pleasant smoke with a sweetness that dampens any bitterness or harsh taste. The aroma of the smoke is pleasantly sweetish, which I could smell even as it was resting about 18-24 inches away from me. It has, almost, an aroma o f a pipe tobacco, an aroma that people like, almost like it reminds them of something but they can't pin it down. So, easy smoke, not easy draw, with this stick, there was a slightly uneven burn, but you can fix that easily. Very good construction. It stayed firm right down to the last inch or so. It's not quite my cup of tea, buy if someone offered it, I wouldn't turn it down.

This cigar is absolutely perfect. Mild is what i wanted, and mild is exactly what i got. The draw was so smooth and the burn was perfect throughout the stick. It was very creamy with light hints of spice. It paired perfect with a cup of "cafe con leche".

As a lifelong Macanudo smoker, I love the evolution of their brand and am always eager to try something new from them, even though the Inspirado White series was introduced back in 2016. If you're a fan of the Connecticut shade like I am, you'll love this cigar. Like most Macanudos, the taste is mild with hints of cream and pepper (yes, pepper!) It's a perfect size (5 X 50) and don't be surprised when you smoke it in public and someone asks you about it. Because of the sweetness of the cigar, I usually have it with my morning coffee, but I've been told it goes well with the white russian drink as well. I would definitely buy this again!

Plume is excellent to have on your cigars. It indicates a perfect cigar and a well-maintained humidor. When your cigars acquire plume, this is the optimal time to sit back and have a smoke. Even though bloom does not improve the taste of your cigar, it just feels great to smoke

Starts off very spicy but dissipates very quickly. It’s a little creamy, a hint of sweetness then mellows to a nutty finish. From the 2/3rd onwards I found it very one dimensional. My verdict: slightly above average smoke. I’d smoke it again but wouldn’t go out of my way to look for one.
