La Gloria Cubana Estelí is named after the region from where this is stick from. According to Steve Abbot, Senior Brand Manager for La Gloria Cubana, “We named this collection in honor of the artisans of our factory in Estelí who did a fantastic job creating the blend and bringing a deeper taste profile to the La Gloria portfolio.” The La Gloria Cuba Estelí cigar is proof positive of the great work that they do. Handmade in Nicaragua, La Gloria Cubana Estelí features a bold, dark Nicaraguan wrapper with a Honduran binder and filler.

Ernie Hello. Question: the article on halfwheel advertising the release of the GC esteli has then priced at $5 for Robusto, $6 for toro, and $7 for gordo. Any reason why prices are double here?

Retired Marine General treated me to his stick while attending reunion in Hilton Head. Best stick I've had in a while. Goes great with a good cup of coffee or a nice glass of Glenfiddich scotch. There is nothing bad I can say about this smoke. The ladies love the aroma, and the burn is perfect with an easy smooth draw.

Second time I've tried this one. The first unravelled on me after cutting. The same happened again but this time I had the cigar glue handy. After repairing it was a very nice little smoke. Drew well with a nice even burn. Seemed to grow stronger in taste towards the end. Careful when cutting it. Cut clean and shallow! Otherwise a nice short and sweet smoke especially if you only have an hour or so. I'd smoke it again...

One of my favorite cigar for this price. There 's nothing wrong with it. Burn and draw OK. The taste and aroma are solid too. It' s creamy, not too peppery. Medium strength and quite full in the last part. Always have some of these in my humidor.
