The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Ecuadorian Habano wrapper has become one of the most used cigar wrappers in the market. Grown primarily by the Oliva family, this tobacco originated from Habano or H2000 seeds brought to Ecuador from Cuba. This leaf is rich and flavorful thanks to the temperate climate of Ecuador and the quality of its volcanic soil.

Nicaragua
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.

This one starts off pretty smooth for how strong it is. Very loose, effortless draw. Flavor upon lighting is cocoa, leather and some spice. Sometimes these pointy tipped footers are tricky to get going but once I fixed my burn, it was perfect the rest of the time. Toward the middle, the spice picks up a little and I'm getting heavy black coffee and earthiness. Not too complex but a pretty good stick for the price.

When life gets you busy, I always get the Avion out and say lets stop and relax. This masterpiece is just for that. 1.5 hours of pure joy. Cinnamon, cream and wood. Pair it with coffee and a match made in heaven. Great price point, wonderful taste and a thing of beauty. I did have to light it up once in between but no harm done. Did mind doing that. I will try to buy a whole box cause it's worthy of it.

I throughly this stick and will definitely be trying it again soon. There was a slight issue with the burn and draw but the taste was full bodyand smooth. The strength definitely kicks up a notch about 1/2 way through. Loved the cocoa and leather notes with a subtile sweetness on the back end. Paired excellent with the 14yr px cast of scotch I had on hand.

Five stars all the way on this one for sure, on my third box but unfortunately paid much more on the first two. Should have checked Neptune cigar sooner! Is a hard to find cigar at my local B&M but now know that Neptune has them in stock at a great price with free and fast shipping!

This is a very good smoke. The appearance is nothing special, but pleasing to the eyes. The draw was a tad bit tight at first but opened up nicely. The burn was impeccable all the way through, and required no touch ups. This cigar has a very pleasant sweet tobacco aroma to it. The taste was really nice with notes of cedar, spice, and subtle pepper throughout. I would recommend this cigar to anyone.

This cigar is certainly an eye-catcher, despite being one of the harder to spot cigars on our Little Havana location's shelves. A strikingly dark broadleaf wrapper without any prominent veins that is smooth to the touch in a beautiful double perfecto-- though you could also call these diademas. Upon light up, a dark earthy taste coats the palate. The smoke production was outstanding, and though the draw was somewhat tight, it opened up beautifully after smoking through the taper on the foot. There was a rich espresso note clear in the aroma-- at times a little bit sweeter, at times almost leathery. But if you are looking for a bold, aromatic & earthy cigar at the softer end of full-bodied, this is the one for you. Despite having to touch up the burn a few times, the draw was a bit tight but not uncomfortable. I would pair this cigar with a sweet bourbon to mellow it out.

This was my first order through Neptune cigar & I've been completely surprised & pleased by the quick arrival time & ease of speaking with the customer service department! The sticks arrived promptly & I was able to take a Tatuaje with me to celebrate Thanksgiving with our kids..and celebrate is exactly what Tatuaje Avion is designed for! It started with a dark dessert-like plum flavor complemented with a sweet tobbacco flavor & spice on the retrohale.. The burn was fantastic & really took its time through the thirds. Which was fantastic because this is a stick that deserves time!! Tatuaje produces some fantastic sticks designed to be celebrated!! My first Tatuaje. Impecable appearance, minimal barely visible veins, even toned perfect dark wrapper, hard to find the seams. Light faint aroma before lightning. Initial cold draw was tight, but adjusted perfectly upon lighting. Even though I enjoy toasting the foot of a Cigar , the easy with which a tapered Figurado lights, is always welcome. Bold Heavy wood and tobacco flavors dominate the smoke, which mellows down a bit, I guess one gets used to the potency of the Ligero. Burn was ok, grey ash held for about an inch under no wind conditions. Bold Great Cigar.

Disappointing. This was mediocre at best. The good: the draw was near perfect. The aroma was good. The bad: The burn was quite poor; Canoed and had to be fixed numerous times. The taste and body were very mild. Would not buy again.

This is a gorgeous perfecto box press with a dark brown/ caramel wrapper with lots of veins. Smells of cedar and chocolate. It hits out right from the start with coffee, chocolate, and earthy notes that are very creamy and flavorful. The second half is more earthy with the black pepper being more constant, without losing the creaminess but intensifying on strength. The last part becomes a full body cigar and is predominantly earthy with some spice (cinnamon),leather and citrus notes playing around. Very balanced and complex, construction is flawless, perfect draw, beautiful ash. Starts as a medium body but ends as a full body smoke.
