The Dojo Dogma was created to commemorate the anniversary of the Cigar Dojo community, which is a group of cigar aficionados who love to smoke great cigars and share their reviews. A re-envisioned version of Undercrown’s famous Maduro Corona ¡Viva!, the Dojo Dogma features a dark, rugged Mexican San Andrés wrapper that is draped over a Connecticut Habano binder which houses a specially blended filler made from Nicaraguan and Brazilian Mata Fina tobaccos for a very invigorating full-strength smoke. The Undercrown Maduro Dojo Dogma is a box-pressed Toro that offers a medium to full-bodied smoking experience with a natural sweetness and a rich creaminess.

Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
Despite many decades of war and revolution in this Central American country, the cigar industry has thrived due to the hard work and tenacity of Cuban exiles to the land such as Plasencia, Padron, Oliva, Ortez, and others. Tobacco has been a force of social stability, and the country is now one of the principal exporters of premium cigars in the world.

Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.
Maduro wrapper can go from dark coffee brown with a reddish tint to blackish brown (the latter also called Oscuro).

Mexican San Andres Maduro
The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Mexican tobacco is very dark and the best leaves can be used as maduro wrappers. San Andres Maduro is a thick, medium bodied dark leaf, also called San Andres Morron. Like Connecticut Broadleaf, San Andres Maduro is stalk cut and used for binder and wrapper.

Connecticut Habano
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Connecticut Habano binder is grown from Connecticut seed by General Cigar Co.
Filler
Brazil Mata Fina
Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.
Brazil produces rich, medium to strong, dark tobaccos with a sweet taste and aroma. Most of the cigar production is concentrated on the eastern coast of Brazil, in the state of Bahia. Mata Fina tobacco is grown in a region in the Reconcavo Basin of the State of Bahia called Mata Fina (which translated means "thin plants"). Tobacco was one of the natural crops in the region.

Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.

Good burn and ash. Ok taste. The draw could have been a bit easier. Glad they put a big enough cap on it so I could snip it twice to try and get a decent draw. Personally I don’t like draws that require having pulled in cheeks to get some smoke.

I've been a big fan of the Liga Undercrown Dogma for years. I was excited when I saw that Neptune had it in stock. Continues to be a very good smoke. Nice draw, a bit of an uneven burn, but that could have been on me. Rich smoke and a very good flavor. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I bought these on a whim. They turned out to be at the high end of my flavor spectrum. They are a good solid smoke with plenty of character if you like 'em dark and strong. They are a body step up from their cousin Liga Maduro. A beautifully constructed stogie with a nice heft in the hand. If youy like a full bodied cigar, you should definitely try one. The aroma was dark chocolate with a bit of dark roast coffee with black pepper tossed in.
