It’s time to clear a spot in your humi, because Flor de Valle is super legit. A Nicaraguan binder and core of Corojo ’99 and Criollo ’98 filler tobacco is topped with a Corojo ’99 wrapper. Anganorsa tobacco is used for the entire cigar. Pepper and honey tickle the cockles of your taste buds, and the overall experience is medium in body. Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
Despite many decades of war and revolution in this Central American country, the cigar industry has thrived due to the hard work and tenacity of Cuban exiles to the land such as Plasencia, Padron, Oliva, Ortez, and others. Tobacco has been a force of social stability, and the country is now one of the principal exporters of premium cigars in the world.

Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.
Colorado is a medium brown color also known as EMS or English Market Selection as this used to be the color with more popularity in England than in America.

Nicaraguan Corojo
The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Nicaraguan Corojo '99 tobacco originated as a wrapper leaf in 1999 in Cuba. The seeds of the original Corojo '99 seed were planted in Ecuador, and these in turn were transplanted to Nicaragua. The leaf is appreciated for its excellent wrapper qualities and spiciness.

The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.

Any chance I get I jump to smoke a new Lancero as this size is always loaded with flavor. Hence, the Flor Del Valle Sky Flower by Warped. This beauty is a Nicaraguan Puro --Corojo 99 wrapper, Corojo 99 and Criollo 98 fillers, and a dual binder that is undisclosed. This special release was made using 100% Aganorsa tobacco produced in the Casa Fernandez factory in Nicaragua. Warped has used very powerful medio tiempo tobacco -- leaves found at the very top of the plant -- making it very rare! Upon first light, pepper notes are upfront along with a very nice creaminess. A bit of nutiness joins in but the pepper notes stay upfront. Strength and body thus far are at a solid medium. Construction is perfect at this point. Into the second third, pepper notes are still upfront along with a toasty taste to join, as well as the nutiness still lingering. These notes are definitely calming down the pepper. It is still a very solid medium smoke at this point. Into the final third, a lovely sweetness pops into play along with some cedar notes -- definitely adds a nice amount of complexity. Pepper notes are still lingering in the background. Construction throughout was spot on. This Lancero was definitely a slow burner which really surprised me! Overall it was a very enjoyable smoking experience. The strength did not rise above a solid medium -- a novice or a beginner can equally enjoy the experience. With the complexity amping up in the final third, it made for a beautiful ending. Take your time and enjoy!
