In 2010, record high temperatures were experienced throughout the Connecticut River Valley, which created the ideal climate for growing tobacco. And a very special crop. These excellent conditions produced a wrapper that was used in creating the Macanudo Vintage 2010. After being carefully aged for 10 years, the Connecticut Shade wrapper from this vintage crop was delicately placed over a Nicaraguan binder and a filler composed of Dominican Piloto Cubano 94, Nicaraguan and Honduran leaves that have been aged three and five years, respectively. Once rolled, this specially curated cigar is encased in cedar to preserve its wrapper and flavor. The Macanduo Vintage 2010 is handmade in the Dominican Republic.
