Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
The Dominican Republic is the world's first producer of cigars. Most factories are located in Santiago, in the center of the island, and in close proximity to the tobacco fields grown in the fertile Cibao Valley. While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.

Connecticut Broadleaf is grown in the United States' Connecticut Valley and is prized for its dark, oily, full flavored and aromatic characteristics. The plants are grown in full sun giving this cigar wrapper its characteristic sweetness. The Connecticut Broadleaf plant leaves are mainly processed as maduro tobacco. Today, Connecticut Broadleaf seeds are being grown in other countries besides the United States.

The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
USA Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco is grown in the Connecticut River Valley area. The soil in this region is of glacial origins. The tobacco is dark, oily, flavorful, and aromatic. It is used primarily as a maduro wrapper, but it also serves as an excellent binder.

Very flavorful cigar and would be a great smoke - except that every one in the box unraveled after I clipped off the cap. I had to glue the end back together to smoke them. Every. Single. One. Very poor construction ruins an otherwise excellent smoke.

Great cigar. Burned a little off in the middle, but corrected on its own. Pepper in the beginning and end. Got some chocolate hints in there as well. Will keep this cigar on hand. One of my favorites.

Excellent construction and unapologetically maduro. Dark espresso background with hints of roasted nuts, cocoa, molasses. Medium plus on flavors and slightly sweet, not excessively strong nicotine kick ( manageable). Premium smoke at bargain price= definitely box worthy.

Very classy band and box. Great construction, with an easy cut and effortless draw. Some burn a bit unevenly, but nothing a touch-up or two can't fix. The tastes of pepper, cocoa and coffee are there, but a touch weak...sort of like it's trying to be a full-strength, In Your Face smoke but doesn't quite hit the big leagues. Still, I call it a good value for the money.

I have tried everything this one is my favorite because it’s a full bodied packed with flavor and it’s best after the midway point it’s a dark liquorice coffee leather and dark spices but not sweet or bitter just thick creamy smoke. Love it with brandy and coñac . I hope the price stays low because I’m going threw allot of them !

Dark and rich and chocolatey but turned a little sour at the end. Draw was loose for my preference and the burn was even but the ash was flaky. Burned kind of quick but was alright, wouldn't buy a box but wouldn't be upset to smoke another.

Definite repurchase for my long walks. Some of the batch I bought have uneven burn (I can live with that, but who likes it?) and the draw was very tight, reducing the enjoyment significantly, until the cigar burned past the 'clump'. I will add that using a Modus II did not help in one case because the clog was nearer to the burning end. Overall, I would get this stick again, but probably not a box.

Excellent smoke. Nice and robust profile, burn couldn't be sharper. Great draw with copious amount of smoke. One quibble: the stick seems to be rolled a tad loose. For a monster this size, I was at the nub too quick. But, all in all, I heartily recommend.

This cigar is proof that a great cigar does not have to cost a lot of money. Loved the taste, draw, burn and most of all....the rough wrapper fit this cigar perfectly. This is a must buy for me. I really enjoyed this cigar and for me, this is what a good cigar should be.

Have you ever walk down the street a look down only to find a $100 bill on the ground.Well this cigar exudes that feeling..What a great cigar that smokes light years beyond the price.
