The Liga Undercrown Shady is a full-strength cigar that is hand rolled in Nicaragua. It was produced by Drew Estate to celebrate the founding of Shady Records the record label created by rapper Eminem and his manager Paul Rosenberg. A dark Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper covers this cigar’s Connecticut Habano binder and blended filler made of Brazilian Mata Fina and Nicaraguan tobaccos. The Liga Undercrown Shady has a natural sweetness that is highlighted with notes of spice.

Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.
Maduro wrapper can go from dark coffee brown with a reddish tint to blackish brown (the latter also called Oscuro).

The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Mexican tobacco is very dark and the best leaves can be used as maduro wrappers. San Andres Maduro is a thick, medium bodied dark leaf, also called San Andres Morron. Like Connecticut Broadleaf, San Andres Maduro is stalk cut and used for binder and wrapper.

The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.

Brazil Mata Fina
Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.
Brazil produces rich, medium to strong, dark tobaccos with a sweet taste and aroma. Most of the cigar production is concentrated on the eastern coast of Brazil, in the state of Bahia. Mata Fina tobacco is grown in a region in the Reconcavo Basin of the State of Bahia called Mata Fina (which translated means "thin plants"). Tobacco was one of the natural crops in the region.

Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.

I'm a fan of undercrown, this Tribute to Eminem didn't taste different to the reg production maduro. Of which stilll a Decents moke. DE did a disservice by jamming these into a box with boveda pack. Some of the foot lables showed smudges so not so clean and pristine. Overall a decent smoke.

I brought two an was excited to try. Not impressed at all. Had trouble keeping this cigar lit and burned uneven. I am a big fan of the Under Crown but this smoke wasn’t that good. Will definitely try the other one I purchased and hoping that it Woll be a better experience then the first one.
