I’ve always been a fan of Romeo y Julieta cigars. So! When I noticed they had a Nicaraguan puro and it was made by Plasencia Cigars, I had to dive in. I was impressed with this toro’s smooth and nearly flawless wrapper. The cigar’s orange band (and box) gave it an eye-popping appearance without being too showy. The construction was firm, and it had a little give. A pre-light sniff test revealed hints of citrus and tobacco sweetness. The cold draw was effortless. Once lit, notes of earth, spice, and coffee greeted me. The citrus aroma tapered down a bit. During the second third, notes of cedar and tobacco sweetness dominated, but the spice stayed present. The draw was effortless. Into the final third, an earthy aroma stood out, while the sweetness and cedar was still prevalent. The strength was medium. I paired it with a coffee black, which served as a background to this cigar’s flavor profile. Overall, the Romeo y Julieta 1875 Nicaragua does a great job of showcasing Nicaraguan tobacco. I plan to add it my regular rotation, and I recommend you do too once you try it, of course.

That was a very good cigar, which I have to admit came as a bit of a surprise as I tend not to like romeos that much, and definitely don’t prefer Nicaraguan blends. Overall medium body, not too spicy, and not that strong. Really nice looking cigar with a great, oily wrapper. Hay smell on the prelight. Good construction—clean, even burn all the way down and a perfect draw. Nice aroma. Good flavor. Not much to complain about.

Perfect draw, nice wrapper. Burn is sharp, ash did not even an inch. Faint pre light aroma. Smooth balance almond, and a hint of orange, although it might have been subconsciously suggested by the bands. It was a pleasure, paired with Dewars 15, enjoyed with a Good Friend.

I like to keep regular Bully's on hand at work because its a good daily cigar thst i don't mind as much having to ditch due to an emergency response. I found this while browsing. For my taste, it is the medium strength version. Theone I have tried was mainly notes of ceder and nuts. I have 2 more to burn to compare after the rest for a bit.

This cigar looks great and feels just right. The taste and aroma is a very mild tabacco and it had a perfect burn. there is no real complexity, i notice faint notes of spice towards the 2/3 and really started to enjoy it around the 2/3 as well (perfect coffee cigar for me). I wish this was my first cigar.

I am a big fan of Nicaraguan cigars/ tobacco. These are amazing, a tad bit of spice you would expect, and a mellow and smooth earthy taste. Over all very good cigar and all were perfect with draw and burn, no issues with the rolling of these sticks.

This vitola varies from medium to full body. If you like leather then this cigar is for you. Leather is the dominant flavor from beginning to end. The construction is good, great draw and burn. The price point is the nail in the coffin. I recommend trying this cigar.

Wow! This was a great stick! Fantastic burn with incredible ash/construction. The flavors were great - very creamy with some citrus notes, especially in the first third. I will be buying this by the box next time!

I love this stick! It’s a nice alternative to the usual medium/full and full body smokes I typically enjoy. A good morning smoke with coffee (as I’m doing as I write this) :-) When I first enjoyed this, I immediately felt it was the perfect stick to offer to a non-smoker friend when asked if they can try a cigar. I’ve done this already and they smoked it all the way down, enjoyed it, and even said they’re gonna save the band to remember which cigar they enjoyed. Nothing’s worse than giving a stick to someone who doesn’t normally smoke and after a few puffs, it’s just left in the ashtray. Sigh... Anyway, this is a good and recommended stick.

I was pleasantly surprised at smooth draw and good taste of this stick. The burn was slow and even throughout and made for a relaxing smoke with a good scotch. It will definitely be one I will keep in my humidor
