Warped Cigars' founder Kyle Gellis dedicated (and named) this cigar after his father, Don Reynaldo, who was the reason he got into smoking, and eventually producing, cigars in the first place. Manufactured at the famed El Titan de Bronze factory in Miami, Florida, this extremely limited edition cigar's goal is to combine the flavor profiles Don Reynaldo loved. Medium to full-bodied, notes of cedar, pepper and earth can be found within this exquisite and complex smoke. Only 100 boxes (total of 1,000 cigars) were made, so make sure you don't miss this terrific tribute.

Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
Production of cigars in the United States, once a thriving industry, is now mainly machine made cigars. They are still being produced in the last remaining cigar factory from the 1890s, the JC Newman Cigar factory in Tampa. However, in recent years boutique brands have flourished and are being handmade by select rollers in Miami, Florida.

Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.
Colorado is a medium brown color also known as EMS or English Market Selection as this used to be the color with more popularity in England than in America.
Wrapper
Corojo
The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Corojo wrapper was first developed in Cuba in the 1930s and quickly became popular as the wrapper on some of the best cigars. By the end of the 90s, Cuba stopped growing Corojo wrapper because of its susceptibility to pests and diseases. Ironically, Corojo wrapper has since become more popular outside of Cuba, as it has been replicated in tobacco farms in Nicaragua, Honduras, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic.
Dominican
The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
The main tobacco region in the Dominican Republic is the Cibao valley in the northern part of the island. In the 60s, Cuban seeds were brought here by exiled Cuban cigar makers and found that they grew exceptional cigar tobacco, called Piloto Cubano. The native Dominican tobacco, called Olor, is milder than Piloto Cubano yet more aromatic. The first company to grow Dominican tobacco for cigar wrapper was Tabacalera Arturo Fuente in 1995.
Binder
Nicaragua
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.
Filler
Dominican Republic
Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.
Filler (or “tripa” in Spanish) is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar. The Dominican Republic is considered one of the most premier tobacco growing countries in the world. The filler tobacco grown in this Caribbean island nation ranges from mild to full bodied. Olor Dominicano and Piloto Cubano are the main types of tobacco grown in the Dominican Republic.
Nicaragua

This stick has a nice presentation. It starts out with distinct notes of cedar and some spice which builds as you work your way through the experience. This is a great smoke but I'm not sure I can justify the price point. I like the Black Honey better to be honest.

Warped Don Reynaldo Regalos reminds me of some Cuban cigars of yesteryear. Full in flavor and strength that stays consistent from start to finish. Love the easy draw and billowy smoke. Recently bought two boxes just to be sure not to run out too soon.

I love pretty much everything Kyle Gellis does and his Don Reynaldo line is one of my favorites of his non-Aganorsa blends. So I was excited to try this Limited Edition that celebrates his Father's birthday and role he played in Kyle's passion for tobacco. I purchased some to smoke now and more to save for my son's 21st birthday which is the same as Kyle's father. I'd love to say they're terrible to keep people away, but they're phenomenal. Complex, unique, and one of a kind.

A fantastic blend by KG…. This masterpiece has slight hints of earth coupled with a fairly bold floral note. The retrohale is long on the finish with just a perfect amount of baking spice that lingers making you do it again and again. Definitely medium in strength but if one hasn’t eaten it can sneak up on you. Are they worth their MSRP…I think so but many may want it as a celebratory cigar or a monthly splurge.

Overall this cigar was a fantastic smoke. Easy, smooth, and the burn was equal and perfect. Worth every penny. I want a box Draw No issues on the draw it was smooth and not harsh. The first 1/3 of it was easy on the drag with a medium smoke and it maintains that throughout the smoke Appearance Sublime is the only word I can use to describe it. It’s gold, light brown leaf was appealing and to be fair got me interested as I looked through the humidor. Burn Consistent through out great burn, maintained its ring through out Aroma Can’t quite describe the aroma. I can say what it was not though it wasn’t bitter, it tasted like vanilla, sweet, taste like a nice expresso so some coffee, maybe pecan nuts as well Taste - Vanilla, Nuts, coffee

Pre-light draw: Malts, pine, lemon 1/3: Lemon, pepper, cedar, Malta, nuttiness, cream, lightly sweet, caramel. So many flavors! Absolute perfect burn and producing a ton of smoke. Ash drops about 20 minutes in. 2/3: Sweet nougat, malts, light cedar, cream. Second ash drops about 35 minutes in. Burn is still razor sharp! 3/3: Almond, mild black pepper, red pepper, sweetness, honey, light wood, spice picks up on the retrohale. Last ash drops at 50 minutes in. Tons of transitions with this stick and so many unique flavors. Final smoke time was 1 hour. If you can’t already tell, I absolutely loved this cigar! Almost $14 for a hour smoke isn’t my favorite but it was honestly worth it. Amazing flavors, great construction and kept me interested the entire time. Box worthy!

Gotta agree with Deyron in the comments. It's a good cigar but not worth the money especially for such a midget sized stick. Would rather get a Liga Privada T52, Oliva Serie V Melanio Figurado, or something else for this price. Glad I tried it but won't buy again.

I call this my commuter cigar. Great tasting cigar for the road. Stuck in California traffic.
