The Caldwell Lost and Found Pepper Cream Soda is part of the Lost and Found series of small batch cigars. The Pepper Cream Soda is a medium-bodied cigar with a natural Dominican wrapper and a criollo binder and filler. The Lost and Found is a special project founded by Robert Caldwell and Jaclyn Sears of Caldwell Cigars and Tony Bellatto of La Barba Cigars. It was conceived during Caldwell’s travels through Caribbean and Central American cigar factories where he would find carefully aged and well-maintained cigars that were once popular or limited releases. The cigars left a memorable impression on the team, so they decided to re-introduce them to cigar aficionados who appreciate a vintage cigar. The sticks are repackaged and re-released as limited-run cigars. Portions of the proceeds from the sale of Lost and Found cigars will be donated to charity.

The Dominican Republic is the world's first producer of cigars. Most factories are located in Santiago, in the center of the island, and in close proximity to the tobacco fields grown in the fertile Cibao Valley. While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.

The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
The main tobacco region in the Dominican Republic is the Cibao valley in the northern part of the island. In the 60s, Cuban seeds were brought here by exiled Cuban cigar makers and found that they grew exceptional cigar tobacco, called Piloto Cubano. The native Dominican tobacco, called Olor, is milder than Piloto Cubano yet more aromatic. The first company to grow Dominican tobacco for cigar wrapper was Tabacalera Arturo Fuente in 1995.

The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Dominican Republic is a traditional tobacco-growing country. In the 60's, a Cuban seed was introduced and the resulting tobacco, called Piloto Cubano, became famous as a good substitute of the Cuban tobacco that was no longer allowed to enter the USA. Piloto Cubano is full bodied while the Dominican Olor tobacco is milder but more aromatic.
Criollo
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Costa Rica Habano tobacco is a Cuban-seed tobacco that is grown in Costa Rica, and it is fermented using traditional Cuban methods. The tobacco is highly regarded for its Cubanesque flavor and aroma.

Toothy wrapper constantly felt dry against my lips but it was an easy draw. Had to touch up a time or two but that isn’t too bad. No tunnels or canoes, just wasn't razor sharp…My biggest drawback was that it was a very light & mild flavor profile. I would smoke again but probably wouldn’t buy again.

I was looking forward to tasting some delicious tastes, especially at $9 for a cigar. I was disappointed. The cigar is fine but nothing special. I will not reorder it, as the value and taste were missing. No Cream Soda that I could deduct.

Really wanted to like this cigar, but was disappointed. Tried two. Both seemed tight on the draw. Both stopped burning and had to be re-lit around the halfway point. First cigar burned unevenly, second was a bit better. Got some pepper taste, but no cream. Maybe I got a couple of duds, but would not buy again.
