Romeo y Julieta Eternal

The Romeo y Julieta Eternal is a limited-edition premium cigar that was created to celebrate the founding of this famous and historic brand’s 145th Anniversary. It was made in collaboration with master cigar crafter Rafael Nodal and the globally recognized Plasencia Cigars. The Eternal is a Nicaraguan puro that is blended from tobaccos grown in the Plasencia’s farms in Condega, Esteli, Jalapa, and Ometepe, which are three of Nicaragua’s top tobacco producing regions. Its oily dark chocolatey maduro wrapper has been carefully aged for 26 months. The cigars were artfully handmade at the Plasencia factory in Nicaragua. Each box of the Romeo y Julieta Eternal comes with 11 cigars and one of them features a gold band that signifies not only the everlasting bond between William Shakespeare’s literary star-crossed lovers, but the strong relationship between cigars, their makers, and cigar aficionados.

Nick  Did you guys/ladies at Neptune get any in? How many batches of the cigars have been produced and how many shipments have you received. Also has anyone tried these cigars? Are they good?

  • NeptuneCigar.com  We received a very limited quantity in April, 2021. How many cigars that have been produced is not known and we do not know if we will receive more. We haven't received any feedback, but we imagine that this cigar did not disappoint!

I was looking forward to trying these for a while now, as I am a big fan of Romeo y Julieta (specificially the Reserva Real Nicaragua). Definitely a good smoke, but I think I prefer the Reserva Real. Some time in the humidor may smooth them out a bit.

A reviewer below mentioned butter, cream, and sweetness, and that's how this smoke struck me too. Sweet and salty buttercream. Reminded me of a Caldwell blind man's bluff which is a favorite of mine. Medium strength med-full flavor with a nice draw and burn. I liked it.

En términos de Romeo y Julieta Eternal, mantiene un perfil muy clásico, y uno que diría encaja muy bien en el perfil de la marca Romeo y Julieta. El cigarro tiene una excelente construcción y buen sabor. El problema que tengo es que no estoy seguro de que haya mucho que se haya destacado para hacer de esta una edición limitada que sea "imprescindible". Al final, todavía está sucediendo lo suficiente con este cigarro donde recomendaría a cualquier entusiasta de los cigarros. En cuanto a mí, es un cigarro que todavía compraría y fumaría de nuevo.

This full-bodied gem requires some time to fully enjoy and appreciate. It is slow even burning, packed with slightly sweet aroma and flavors of earth and leather that dominate gentle overtones of dark coca and roasted nuts! If you are desiring, or if you are searching for, a smooth, hardy, full-bodied smoke with no bite or peppery aftermath, and delivers gentle notes that are slightly sweet without hindering the pleasures of full-bodied cigars, and where each puff yields generous amounts of smoke that do not irritate the eyes, then this is it! You have found it. This is a wonderful cigar experience that you will not forget, and will keep you coming back for more. Thank you NEPTUNE for offering us such wide varieties of cigars.

Soft buttery smoke. Toasty flavors of leather and cream. Earth and a little sweetness on the finish. Really enjoyed it. Wish it came in a 52 ring.

I am an R&J guy, both Reserva Real,Mild-Med., and Reserva Real Nicaragua, full. @different but very good in my book,so comes the along waited "Eternal". I actually rate this in between my favs. Med-Full, but just not quite up to my expectations. Not at its price point. But very good!
