The Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro is a medium strength cigar that is handmade in Nicaragua. Its toothy, oily Nicaraguan maduro wrapper drapes a binder and filler made of Cuban-seed Nicaraguan tobaccos that have been aged for five years. The Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro has a complexity of flavors that includes mocha and spice.

Despite many decades of war and revolution in this Central American country, the cigar industry has thrived due to the hard work and tenacity of Cuban exiles to the land such as Plasencia, Padron, Oliva, Ortez, and others. Tobacco has been a force of social stability, and the country is now one of the principal exporters of premium cigars in the world.

Cuban seed tobacco comes from seeds that originated in Cuba but are grown in other countries. The tobacco is used in binders as well as wrappers.

Solid everyday stick. Love the Maduro Lot 23. Firm construction with a smooth draw. Sweet Maduro and mocha taste. Aromas come out very good and strength is medium. Burn was a bit off - but corrected well. Strong ash. Flavor builds up in the second third and stays with a hint of pepper & spice in the end. And a good price too for a daily smoke.

The below cigar is quite nice and a good smoke. I give it a 4.0. I have found that removing the cellophane sleves from the cigars c. one week prior to smoking more completely humidifies the cigar and preserves the cigar. Also, the slightly shorter toro is more to my liking over the Churchill.
