The CAO Bones is the ideal cigar to enjoy while playing a game of dice, dominoes or just kicking back with friends and family over a barbecue. It was created by CAO’s Brand Ambassador Rick Rodriguez and his blending team in Nicaragua. The CAO Bones is a bold but balanced stick with a rich complexity, and it pairs well with your favorite beverage. Each vitola in the Bones line-up is named after a game of dice or dominoes. The specially designed box comes with 20 Bones cigars and a set of dice. Plus, the box’s lid has a felt lining inside so you can use it as a playing surface for your next dice game.

The plants are grown in full sun giving this cigar wrapper its characteristic sweetness. The Connecticut Broadleaf plant leaves are mainly processed as maduro tobacco. Today, Connecticut Broadleaf seeds are being grown in other countries besides the United States.

The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Grown in the Connecticut River Valley, USA Connecticut Shade tobacco is shade-grown. It is valued for its consistency in color and beauty. It offers a mild to medium flavor, subtle sweetness, and it is considered one of the most expensive tobaccos in the industry.

Surprisingly good cigar i actually got for my lady. Rich in flavour but not complex, easy to smoke. Nice size for a shorter smoke, too. To be honest, im smoking them away like i used to steal cookies from moms kitchen the earlier days (my wife may not notice as she prefers the honey ones). I would definatly reorder again.

I got medium flavor notes of smooth, dark cocoa, medium-dark roast coffee, black pepper and spice at light up. By 1/3 in, the pepper & spice mellowed and the other flavors became more prominent. Good with Folger's Trailblazer medium dark roast coffee, or maybe a brown ale.

For many years, CAO has been making great cigars for everyone to enjoy. And thanks to brand ambassador and master blender Rick Rodriguez, that trend proudly continues. The CAO Bones Blind Hughie Toro is a great new offering from the beloved brand. Named after the slang term for dice, each box of Bones even comes with an authentic pair of die included! Aside from the cool packaging, what caught my eye first was the striking dark color of the wrapper, looking extremely inviting. Upon lighting, you are introduced to woody and nutty notes, with some hints of pepper. You get the full effect once you retrohale. It starts off as a medium-bodied cigar, but don't get too comfortable yet! At the half way point of the cigar, the flavors are still consistent, while the hints of pepper go up a bit. Not overwhelming, but just enough to make you enjoy the cigar that much more. The strength does increase noticeably to push it into medium-full bodied territory. Towards the end of the cigar, the cedar and nutty flavors are still present, with the hints of pepper diminishing a bit. Again, just enough to compliment the flavors of the cigar. Overall, the CAO Bones Blind Hughie is a super consistent, bold tasting smoke that is as solid as all CAO cigars have proven to be over time. Don't be afraid to take a gamble with this latest CAO cigar - you have nothing to lose.

I bought this along with some other cigars and unfortunately this one was on the dry side. The other cigars were not. Taking that into consideration the flavor was consistent at least. Not complex and I'd say an ok smoke. I won't get it again but maybe it's worth a try because it's newer.
