About the Casa 1910 Soldadera Edition Cigars

hey say that behind every great man is a great woman. The Casa 1910 Soldadera Edition is dedicated to three brave women who fought under Emiliano Zapata and Pancho Villa during the Mexican Revolution in the 19th Century – a time when women participating in combat was unthinkable. “Soldadera” is Spanish for female soldier, and these women cut the muster when it came down to engaging in mortal combat and liberating their beloved country from the hands of an oppressive government. Each cigar in the Soldadera Edition is named after one of the three women: Amelia “La Coronela” Robles (aka Amelio Robles), Petra Herrera referred to as Sampetrina, and Angela “Teniente Angela” Jimenez. Just like the women they are named after; the cigars are known for their spirited complexity.
