The CAO OSA Sol brand uses a distinctive sun grown wrapper from the San Agustin Valley in Olancho, Honduras. Olancho San Agustin or "OSA" tobacco is a proprietary tobacco of General Cigar, Co. CAO OSA also features a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers. The Lot 50 is a medium bodied robusto with a long, sweet finish and woodsy, black pepper and sour flavors throughout.

The 2008 crop which wraps OSA Sol bears the distinction of ideal climatic conditions that lead to the expression of essential oils on the leaf. The cigar is a medium bodied smoke with intriguing flavor and immaculate construction.
